🧑‍🚀About the Role

We are looking for a Development Team Lead to join our dynamic team. You will play a pivotal role in leading our product's end-to-end design, development, testing, and delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned engineer passionate about building great products and looking to take the next step in leadership. You'll have the chance to shape the technical direction of your team while ensuring product excellence at every stage.

💪What you'll be doing

• Leading the architecture, design, and delivery of your team's product, ensuring that everything from development to testing is executed flawlessly.
• Owning the team’s roadmap in collaboration with the Product Manager, ensuring that goals are met efficiently and effectively.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders, solving complex problems, and making key decisions that impact both product and team success.
• Mentoring and supporting other developers, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth.
• Keeping a pulse on industry trends, technologies, and innovations, ensuring our product and processes evolve with the changing landscape.

Some of the technologies you will be working with are Node.js (TypeScript), PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker, and gRPC.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑💼About the Team

You will be working in a cross-functional team of 7 members, consisting of 3 developers, a QA specialist, a Product Manager, a Designer and a Data Scientist. The team owns a specific set of components and features related to ads and CRM integrations, and helps marketing managers do their job. We value a product mindset, where every team member takes ownership of the product and strives for continuous improvement. Collaboration and communication are at the heart of how we operate, and we’re always looking to build solutions that add value to our customers.

✍️Qualifications

Must-Haves:

• Senior developer experience, including 5+ years of relevant backend experience.
• Proven leadership experience, having led teams for 3+ years.
• A consistent track record of planning, executing, and delivering projects with complex requirements.
• Hands-on experience with NodeJS and TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of SQL and ACID principles.
• Solid knowledge of distributed architecture design principles and domain-driven design.
• Experience building complex server-side applications with long-running processes and event communication.
• Passion for DevOps methodologies and Continuous Delivery practices.
• Fluency in English and Russian

• Proven ability to hire and onboard team members effectively.
• Actively participates in improving shared engineering processes such as hiring, planning, and operations.
• Skilled at setting and managing expectations for career growth, compensation, and promotions.
• Proven ability to develop engineers to senior and lead levels.
• Strong track record of leading teams through empowerment and inspiration, focusing on team ownership and motivation.
  
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience in advertising would simplify onboarding and be a helpful asset.
• Familiarity with CRM integration use cases.
• Knowledge of privacy concepts relevant to advertising.
• Some experience with Golang would be beneficial, as we have several apps built with it.
